Monday, September 19th, 2016

The most awesome Halloween store in the Indianapolis area is open for the 2016 season. Voted the top

The store has very unique items, including full size coffins made from aged barn wood, made here in the USA by Asylum Coffins. Don’t be a stiff, get your coffin locally and save shipping.

There are plenty of unique masks made by  Ghoulish Productions. You won’t find these masks at your franchise stores.

Monsters RIP Halloween is a locally owned business. Voted one of the Best Halloween Stores in Indianapolis, IN

Look for coupons in your Reach Magazine, mailed September 19th, 2016.

My Halloween Stores

Tuesday, July 15th, 2014

My interest in Halloween started in 1998. After hosting a Halloween party with average decorations and spookiness, I caught the bug. A bug that give me energy and passion to take in as much of the spirit as humanly possible. This adventure tells the continuing saga of entering the seasonal Halloween business and hopefully will carry us into larger endeavors, perhaps a Haunted Attraction. See my other blog detailing events pertaining to that at

http://www.myhauntedattraction.com/blog

The seasonal Halloween store business seems to be on the down swing. We are hoping to enter the market at a time when others are exiting the market. Timing means everything.

IndianaHaunters · Indiana Haunters / Halloween Enthusiasts

Thursday, January 17th, 2013

Established 2012 – A place for Indiana (Midwest) Haunters and Halloween enthusiasts who are interested collaboration.

There have been several other groups in the past, but many have fallen by the wayside for one reason or the other. This is a new attempt to revitalize a group welcoming all old and new Haunters. We welcome all Haunters, low tech and high tech, experienced and novices. This is the place to pool resources, talents, and experiences, everything from yard haunts to professional haunts and everything in between. We need your ideas, your experience, and most importantly your enthusiasm and dedication.

The intent of the group is to collaborate in this online forum with the attempt to meet up once in a while to make new friends and most importantly make new props. Hopefully members will suggest group projects called make and takes (MNTs) that allow members to meet up and build a common prop that can be completed in a day and taken home. A group build sometimes involves buying materials in bulk to obtain a price break or discount. It also involves sharing talents and resources.

This group is intend to be free of politics and personal agendas. Everyone should be respected in every sense of the word. Those who cannot play well with others are encouraged to check themselves into a haunted asylum. Please use the golden rule…

Halloween Haunted Garage 2010

Tuesday, February 8th, 2011

This is my 2010 garage haunt, lights off. Three car garage in central Indiana. Most lit with black lights. Lots of props, some static, some animated. Notice the small shadow that follows me around the garage. It is my 2 year old daughter. She won’t lead, but likes to check out the garage by following behind me. See more at earthween.com

Flying Crank Ghost

Saturday, February 5th, 2011

I’ve been busy trying to build out “EarthWeen” with old pages and content from the original EarthSands Halloween website. Some of the information is dated, but a lot of it is still relevant. I try to update text and images where possible. Latest conversion is my Flying Crank Ghost project/prop built for year 2000. Wow, that’s almost 11 years ago. How time has flown. At one time, I actually built 5+ of these FCG’s. I recently sold my surplus stuff on Ebay.
